  • Broccoli  =  1 Pound (2 heads)
  • Chives = 2 tablespoons (finely chopped)
  • Butter = 1 ounce
  • Sour Cream = 3 ounces
  • Pepper = 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt = 1/2 teaspoon

How To Make Mashed Broccoli (Step-By-Step Instructions)

Step 1

Take a large pot of water on medium heat.

Step 2

Cut the broccoli and add to the boiling water, boil broccoli for 4 to 5 minutes, until the broccoli becomes tender.

Step 3

Drain the broccoli and place it in a warm pot, add sour cream, butter, salt, and pepper. Blend the broccoli with a blender stick, and mash it properly with butter and sour cream.
