Ingredients For Panocha Recipe
- Sprouted wheat Panocha flour = 2 cups
- All-purpose flour = 1 cup
- Brown sugar = 3 cups
- Salt = 1 tsp
- Butter to oil the pan = 1/2 tbsp
- Boiling water = 4 cups
How To Make Panocha Recipe (Step-by-Step Instructions)
Step 1
Take a large saucepan add water and brown sugar, and melt sugar in water on medium heat. While stirring continuously bring the mixture to a high boil. Make sure the sugar is fully dissolved.
Step 2
Now add both flours gradually to the mixture and don’t stop stirring to prevent burning and lumps.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 150C.
Step 4
Take a baking sheet and grease it with butter, place your ready mixture on the baking sheet evenly.
Step 5
Bake it low and slow for 2.5 to 3 hours, once it’s cooked properly remove it from the oven and allow it to cool.
Step 6
Cut in small pieces and serve with tea or coffee.
