- Beef flank steak thinly = 1 pound (sliced)
- Cornstarch = 1/2 Cup
- Vegetable oil = 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce = 2 tbsps
- Ketchup = 2 tbsps
- Egg = 1 beaten
- Hoisin sauce = 1 tbsp
- Garlic = 3 cloves (minced)
- Yellow onion = 1 (diced)
- Rice vinegar = 1 tbsp
- Sweet chili sauce = 2 tbsps
- Red bell pepper diced = 1
- Brown sugar = 1 tbsp
- Cornstarch = 1 tsp
- Salt = 1/4 tsp
- Water = 2 tbsps
Instructions For Beijing Beef Panda Express
Step 1
Take a large bowl and add beef, egg and salt mix properly. Cover it and set aside for 10 to 15 minutes for marinating.
Step 2
In deep-pot heat vegetable oil to 350F over medium heat. coat marinated beef slices with cornstarch and fry them in batches until tender and golden brown. Use paper towel to drain excess oil while transfer in plate.
Step 3
Take a wok and heat vegetable oil add onions, pepper garlic and cook them for 2 minutes.
Step 4
In another bowl whisk together ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, chili sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch and water. Stir sauce mixture until it’s become thick.
Step 5
